Video evidence can be extraordinarily useful in investigations and prosecutions. Of course, you have to have the video infrastructure in place before you need it, and that can be difficult to achieve both in terms of funding the equipment and infrastructure that are needed as well as coordinating and communicating with the other jurisdictions, agencies, community groups, and elected officials that have a stake in how multimedia evidence is collected and used. Fortunately, federal and state grants can help offset both the capital expense of the equipment and the additional costs of planning, policy development, public communication, and training, and this grantscast will cover the sources of that funding and strategies for making the most of what’s available.

Join Grants Office and special guests from Unicom and NetApp as we review the landscape of funding for video surveillance and provide tips for developing a comprehensive approach to deployment that will attract more funding and create fewer headaches down the road.

If you’ve been thinking of developing or expanding a video surveillance program and are looking for actionable information to get you moving forward, you won’t want to miss this event!
