The coronavirus pandemic brought about and exacerbated challenges for educational organizations, but there are also new opportunities to reimagine teaching and learning. Luckily, the Coronavirus Response & Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act included nearly $82 billion in additional funding for the Education Stabilization Fund! This includes the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) for K-12, the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) for higher education, and the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund (GEER) for both K-12 and higher education as well as other education providers. Much of this funding is technology-friendly and can help schools facilitate instruction and support students.
Join Grants Office and Lenovo as we review these opportunities, how they relate to the CARES Act funding, and tips for making the most of what’s available to fund much-needed technology. With more than twice the funding for education as we saw in CARES, you won’t want to miss out on learning about these exciting grant opportunities!
If you want to be sure you’re not missing any of the new technology-friendly funding that is available to your institution, you won’t want to miss this event!
