Event Summary

With coronavirus still impacting schools across the country, Congress has passed yet another stimulus bill, allocating an additional $170 billion towards education via the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Approximately $40 billion of this funding will go to higher education institutions to further help them respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and reopen schools.

These funds will provide additional allocations to the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, first introduced in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in March 2020 and expanded with the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act in December 2020. Be aware, though, that the future funds from the American Rescue Plan will have new provisions!

Join Grants Office, HP, and AMD as we discuss the new appropriations for higher education, how they relate to the previous stimulus funding, and provide tips for making the most of what’s available to meet ongoing technology needs. With this large amount of new funding on the way, you won’t want to miss out on learning about these exciting opportunities!
