Research computing, including high performance computing (HPC) enables advanced research and research-related activities across scientific disciplines and having the right computing system is essential to support your institution’s needs. However, finding the funding to purchase this equipment can be challenging. Fortunately, federal research instrumentation grants, such as the Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) grant from the National Science Foundation, can support HPC-enabled research at institutes of higher education.

Join Grants Office, Intel, and Dell Technologies as we dive into the MRI grant and talk with grant winners from universities that have successfully deployed these technologies to support their researchers.

Everyone who registers for this event will also receive a copy of Facilitating Research: Funding Research Computing with NSF’s Major Research Instrumentation Grant and More, containing information about MRI and other popular upcoming research instrumentation grants and an overview of how to utilize these programs and research computing technologies to meet your institution’s research goals.
