Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, United Nations Secretary General António Guterres stated, “It is clear that we cannot simply rebuild the world as it was. Instead, we must build a fairer, greener and more resilient global economy that leaves no one behind.” With the entire world hit by unprecedented health and socio-economic crises, the fight against poverty is at the forefront of policy maker's minds. While this fight has been on the agenda of the European Commission for decades, it has also been included in the very recent European recovery and resilience plan, “Next Generation EU." The plan aims to respond to the union’s current and future challenges.

Join Grants Office Europe for an analysis of the historic Next Generation EU plan. We will shed light on the centerpiece of Next Generation EU, the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) - and focus specifically on the measures deployed in the French and Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plans to promote access to education, workforce development, and health care.
